Moonee Beach Walking Trail
Moonies Beach Trail is to the North of Munmorah State Conservation Area with the car park on Snapper Point Road across from the Tank Track entry point. At approximately 2km each way and a gradual descent from South to North along the trail this is a longer walk but very easy along the way however when combined with the walk along Moonie & Ghosties Beaches this walk can add up to approximately 9km for a return trip with the walk home being all up hill.

This trail is quite an easy, access road style track with views across the coast over Ghosties Beach, Moonie Beach and South towards Snapper Point. The track surface ranges from a hard Sandstone base to gravel and even at times grass.

Lined with an abundance of wild flowers during spring and summer this is a really stunning walk.
Keep your eyes and ears open for the wildlife along the way
too with signs of Wallaby and Kangaroo along the way, if you are lucky you might even spot a sneaky Echidna along the walk or even on the beaches.

Check out the Moonie Beach & Ghosties Beach Information for more on those areas

Munmorah State Conservation Area does require an $8/vehicle access fee with ticket booths at all car parks or annual passes available from the National Parks & Wildlife website.
